CPT David A. Bierbrauer

CPT Bierbrauer was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Signal Corps upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, in May of 2012. His first assignment was to the 44th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 2nd Signal Brigade in Grafenwoehr, Germany. While there, he served as a Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer. CPT Bierbrauer was then assigned as a Battalion S-6 for the 15th Engineer Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade in Grafenwoehr, Germany. In 2017, CPT Bierbrauer was assigned as the S-6 for 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, KY.

CPT Bierbrauer’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Basic Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and German Armed Forces Badge of Military Proficiency (Gold). His professional certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA Network+.

CPT Bierbrauer is a graduate of the Signal Basic Officer Leader Course in Fort Gordon, GA. He is also a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School and the honor graduate from the United States Marine Corps Expeditionary Communications Course, both located in Quantico, VA.
