Congratulations to the West Point - The U.S. Military Academy cyber policy team! They placed 2nd in the Cyber 9/12 competition at Columbia University in the City of New York. With 28 teams total, they were the only undergrad team left in the remaining top four during the final round.

The first ever cyber competition between Army and Air Force cadets took place Nov 2, 2018. The Capture the Flag competition lasted approximately six hours where both teams were scored on their defensive, offensive, and overall cyber performance.

Williams opened the annual conference with stating that today, you can't talk about either readiness or modernization without addressing cyber and space. This year's theme was Cyber Conflict during Competition. During competition, U.S. and Allied forces actively campaign to advance and defend national interests in an environment that is short of armed conflict.
